GIVING TO CO-OP
Most of the university’s 3,000 co-op employers provide full-time compensation to students. However, certain worthy organizations—startup companies, public service agencies, and nonprofit organizations—are unable to offer sufficient salaries. Your support helps open doors to some of the most meaningful and challenging co-ops a student can have.

From the moment I stepped on campus as a student, I thrived at Northeastern largely due to my involvement in so many university activities.
My career in philanthropy began at Northeastern. I was hired as an assistant in the University Development Office in 1961, rising through the ranks over 34 years to Senior Vice President for Development. I am proud to be a triple Husky and proud that my wife Corinne (Cianci) is a double Husky and former Professor of Cooperative Education.
As a retiree, and having served on the university’s Corporation and Board of Overseers, I have the unique perspective of having worked with 6 of the 7 Presidents of Northeastern. President Aoun continues the university tradition of being the absolute right person for the job and is elevating Northeastern to new unimagined heights.
Northeastern has had a profound impact on our lives so it is important to me and Corinne to assist the University in any way we can. We want to continue to embrace the people and programs that benefit our students. That is why we give to the Annual Fund. It’s been another way for us to give back to a great institution.
