Biography

Padmaja grew up in India, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Medicine and Bachelors in Surgery (MBBS) degree. Upon moving to the United States eight years ago, she attended California State University, Hayward, and graduated with Masters of Science (Healthcare Administration). She briefly worked, as MTPCCR fellow at, UCSF, San Francisco. She joined the Ph.D. program in the department of pharmaceutical sciences at Northeastern in Fall of 2006. While not studying or working in the lab, she enjoys cooking, reading fiction and dancing.
