Biography
Originally from Dodge City, KS, I am now in my final year at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in physics. My previous co-op experiences have been nanotechnological in nature and the IGERT program has been an excellent mechanism to continue my studies of nanophysics. My primary project aims to fabricate nanocomposite structures from CdTe quantum dots and TiO2 nanotubes that will ultimately be used as photoluminescent tags for in-vitro cellular tracking and perhaps eventually as an aid in targeted drug delivery.
