The Women’s Alpine Ski team races twice each weekend, requiring travel throughout New England. Alpine ski racing is a notoriously expensive sport, which is only made possible by our team’s fundraising efforts. Our team members individually pay for race registration fees, ski lift tickets, hotel rooms, gas, and food. In addition to these expenses, team members pay for all of their own equipment, including racing skis, boots, poles, and certified racing helmets, which cost a minimum of $300 each. Dues for each member are $700, and hill training is an additional $20 per week.
Thank you for helping us raise $2,850, which will go towards our race fees for the 2017 USCSA eastern regional championships.
