The Provost’s Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavors Award

Every day, Northeastern’s undergraduates engage in knowledge creation, artistic expression, and entrepreneurial innovation in collaboration with faculty and peers on campus and around the globe.

The Provost’s Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavors Awards offer financial and academic support to Northeastern students seeking to conduct original projects of their own design. The goal of the program is to encourage students representing a wide range of majors/disciplines to carry out both early and advanced independent research and creative endeavors under the mentorship of Northeastern faculty members. Awards range from $500 to $3,000, depending on met criteria and budgetary need.

The application form, eligibility requirements, and criteria are on the Provost’s Office Undergraduate Research website.

National Scholarships and Fellowships

Applying for nationally prestigious scholarships is an excellent way to complement an enriching and successful undergraduate experience. These scholarships offer a range of unique and challenging opportunities. Many work to frame the undergraduate experience within an international context, opening doors to sponsored travel and study abroad.

For those students interested in applying, the Honors Program recommends that you explore Northeastern University’s Office of Fellowships. Investigate what opportunities suit your academic interests and professional aspirations best, and then schedule an appointment to meet with Director Jonna Iacono.
