Morris Dees, co-founder of the Southern Poverty Law Center and human rights activist, will bring his message of tolerance and justice to Northeastern University. Mr. Dees and the SPLC have been at the forefront of the struggle against hate and intolerance and continue to work to ensure that the promises of the civil rights movement become a reality for all. The SPLC is internationally known for tracking and exposing the activities of hate groups, including white supremacists and neo-Nazis, and for winning landmark legal victories on behalf of the exploited, the powerless, and the forgotten.
