ITEMS DISCUSSED
The President welcomed all senators to the senate meeting.
1. Textbook Exchange Program – Harshita Gupta and Hanna Nuttall
- Harshita and Hanna discussed the significance of the program and the vision of the initiative
- Senators were invited to buy and sell books for a favorable price through the program
2. CPS Referendum – Gagan Dep Prabhu
- The #GSGforCPS launch video was displayed and received positive feedback from Senators
- CPS students who attended the Senate meeting were welcomed and were given #GSGforCPS merchandize
3. Care.com Presentation – Lynne Satlof-Karas, Director of Educational Services
- Lynne presented about Care.com and discussed services that graduate students at Northeastern University have access to
- Care.com offers resources in various ways when a request is made on their website. Students can also become caregivers
- Services include pet care, child care, etc
4. Lunch
