Northeastern’s MS in Accounting/MBA program prepares you to meet this demand with comprehensive accounting coursework, a deep dive into the fundamentals of business, and a four-course concentration in analytics that will set you apart in this dynamic field.

This intensive 15-month curriculum prepares you for a successful career in accounting with advanced preparation for the CPA exam and a three-month paid corporate residency at a Big 4 or other top accounting firm. Our corporate partners shape our curricula, lecture, lead workshops, sponsor corporate residencies, and recruit our outstanding graduates.

Experiential Learning

Integrating classroom instruction and academic thinking with authentic, experience-powered learning is what we do best at D’Amore-McKim, and you’ll benefit directly from our real-world approach in the MS in Accounting/MBA program.

Classroom: Our MS in Accounting/MBA students learn from faculty that have extensive industry backgrounds in their fields. Students are guided through project-based learning and surrounded by classmates with diverse and professional backgrounds, creating a powerful fusion of experience and skills.

Corporate Residency: As part of this program’s 15-month curriculum, you’ll participate in a three-month, paid corporate residency with a Big 4 or other renowned accounting firm. Unlike a typical internship, your residency will give you real responsibility during the accounting busy season—challenging you, building your confidence, and expanding your network. You’ll apply the lessons you’ve been learning in the classroom as you tackle individual projects and solve problems as part of a team.
