Robert M. Prior is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Master of Sports Leadership and Master of Science in Organizational Leadership programs. Dr. Prior oversees the course design and instruction of select courses by the Sports Leadership faculty.

He has extensive experience as a practitioner in the sports industry, having worked at both the professional and collegiate levels. He has served on the Board for the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA) and presented numerous times at COSMA and North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM) Conferences.

Prior to joining the faculty, Dr. Prior was director of media relations for the Boston Celtics, public relations and marketing coordinator for the Atlanta Braves, venue manager for the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games, and director of information and new media for Major League Soccer. Previously, he was the Associate Athletic Director at Nova Southeastern University, and chaired and taught in the sport management undergraduate program at Lasell College.
