Jacques Alexis is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Master of Science in Project Management program. A business economist specializing in cost and project management, his research interests focus on business-driven economic development, process optimization, team behavior, project organizational success, and project management. Mr. Alexis is a certified Project Management Professional who brings years of professional experience in business and process development as well as portfolio, program, and project management into the classroom. He has earned certificates relevant to business project management from Microsoft (Certified Technology Specialist) and Caterpillar (New Product Introduction Management and Electric Power Generation Training).
Mr. Alexis has worked with many nonprofit organizations to investigate the effects of training and education on social mobility and has served as finance and project manager for a variety of organizations in different market sectors, including power generation and manufacturing. He currently works as a management consultant in the Greater Boston area. Mr. Alexis is trilingual, speaking English, French, and Spanish.
