Jacquaetta Hester

Jacquaetta is the Administrative Officer and Graduate Programs contact for the Department of History. She is the contact for graduate applications, course registration, deadlines, overrides, and general assistance and questions. She assists Professor Ángel Nieves, Professor Victoria Cain, and Professor Kabria Baumgartner in fulfilling their roles as needed. She started at Northeastern in 2014 as an Administrative Assistant of Bouve College of Health Sciences in the Corporations and Foundations Department, and formatting and submitting faculty grants and proposals before moving on to support the Interim Dean of Bouve’s College of Health Sciences. She moved on to the Department of Economics in 2016 as the Administrative Assistant and advanced to Graduate Admissions Coordinator. In June 2022, she ultimately accepted a position as the Administrative Officer at CSSH Department of History.
