About

Himlona Palikhe is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and Co-Program Director of the Master of Science in Engineering Management program. She is an industrial engineering and engineering management scholar with expertise in quality management. She is Six Sigma Green Belt certified from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers. Her research interests include cost of quality, electric utilities, supply chain management, optimization, and economic modeling. She received an MS in Industrial Engineering and a PhD in Systems Engineering and Engineering Management from Texas Tech University. Dr. Palikhe joined Northeastern’s College of Engineering in 2014.

Engineering Management Team Wins at International Competition

An MS in Engineering Management student team secured third place in the “Virtual Best Case Analysis Competition” and second place in the “Live Best Case Presentation Competition” in the 2023 17th Annual International Engineering Management Student Case Competition organized by the American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM).
