Experience:
A proven leadership development professional with focused experience in leadership education and development, Dr. Tova Sanders is passionate about leadership education. She was actively involved in the establishment of the Leadership Domain at Northeastern University, a collaborative effort to develop strategic programs to engage learners in the leadership domain at a variety of educational levels, with multiple modalities in widely dispersed locations. She has also served as the former lead of the Organizational Leadership Studies doctoral concentration.
Dr. Olson-Sanders is also actively involved in the International Leadership Association, where she serves as the co-chair of the Doctoral Faculty and Administrators Learning Community. Prior to her work at Northeastern, Dr. Olson-Sanders taught at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where she also consulted with the Center for the Study of Learning and ran her own Leadership Coaching Firm: Leading Opportunity, LLC. She received her Master of Arts at the University of Maryland, College Park, and her doctorate in human and organizational learning from George Washington University.
Dr. Olson-Sanders lives in Michigan with her son and daughter and enjoys kayaking, running, the beach, and even the winter snow!
