On Friday, March 30th, our Distinguished Guest Speaker will be Steve Todd, Distinguished Engineer and Director of Global Research and Innovation at EMC Corporation.

Steve Todd is a Distinguished Engineer and Director of Global Research and Innovation at EMC Corporation. Steve has spent his entire career working on as many storage products and technologies as he could get his hands on. He spent 13 years at Data General before joining EMC in 2000. Products include CLARiiON, Navisphere, Storage Scope, PowerPath, and Centera. Technologies include RAID, failover, caching, management technologies, databases, device drivers, and CAS. Steve enjoys the creative process and has been a finalist in the yearly EMC Innovation Showcase for four years in a row. He is continually leading EMC in the creation of new ideas, as evidenced by the generation of well over 185 patent applications on which he is named. In May of 2011, he became the Director of EMC’s Global Innovation Network. He has a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of New Hampshire.
