Art Rousmaniere is a Farm Engineering manager. He specializes in concept-to-production engineering and product development for the medical and electronics industries with expertise in electronics packaging, including related thermal, shock/vibration, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) analyses. In the electronics field, Art has led the mechanical engineering development of high-end computers as well as business and industrial electronics products. In the medical market, Art has developed handheld devices and laboratory/diagnostic instruments. Here at Farm, Art has led the mechanical development of a mission-critical electronics device and a hospital bedside surgical/therapeutic instrument. He is experienced in a wide range of material/manufacturing processes, including off-shore suppliers and contract manufacturers. Art’s plus 25 years of experience is balanced between working for medium-to-Fortune 500 manufacturers and product development consulting, thereby merging out-of-the-box conceptualization with manufacturing. Art is also an officer in the Boston section of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and lead mentor for the Farm-sponsored FIRST robotics team from Lawrence High School. Art received his bachelor’s degree in engineering and applied sciences from Harvard College. Art is named on 18 patents.

As a program manager at Farm with over 15 years of experience, Jamie specializes in program and technical leadership for some of our clients’ most challenging projects. He has a background in system architecture, technology development, laparoscopic devices, catheter-based products, electromechanical/robotic systems, and FDA-compliant design controls. Jamie’s clients include Titan Medical, Corindus, Cook Medical, Smith & Nephew, CryoCath, ConMed, BD Medical, Bard, BioniCare, and Symmetry Medical. His experience prior to Farm includes engineering positions at Hanson Marine Engineering, XRT Power Systems, and MLD Engineering and Consulting. Jamie received a BS in marine systems engineering from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. He holds one utility patent, with six pending.
