Fall 2015 Distinguished Speaker Series
Gordon Program

On November 17th, our Distinguished Speaker will be Joanne Mistler, Business Development Manager, Analog Devices.

Joanne began her engineering life at Northeastern University.  As an Electrical Engineering undergrad, she worked her Co-Op with Raytheon Missiles Systems where she became skilled in RF/Microwave low-noise synthesis design and test.  She received her BSEE from NU, was awarded a Raytheon full-time graduate scholarship, and received a Master’s Degree in Microwave Engineering from Tufts University.

After 13 years with Raytheon, Joanne worked in low-noise RF/MW and test instrumentation and became a strong RF/MW Systems Applications Engineer with Hewlett-Packard/Agilent (now Keysight).  She’s developed and taught many training seminars worldwide in RF/MW, phase-noise, digital communications and radar.  With Agilent, Joanne learned sales and marketing, and joined Northeastern University’s High-Technology Masters of Business Program where she received a High-Tech MBA.

Joanne has managed technical marketing with a set-top box software start-up company, consulting with Agilent, as well as Strategic Marketing for Analog Devices’ High-Speed Converters before returning to defense with Lockheed Martin.

At Lockheed Martin, Joanne managed Business Development for RF/MW technologies and also became a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt practitioner, facilitator and instructor across the corporation.  As a corporate sponsor of the Gordon Engineering Leadership program, Lockheed Martin allowed Joanne to participate as a guest lecturer and a Gordon Mentor.

Joanne currently manages marketing efforts for Analog Devices’ Aerospace Defense team with focus on Radar, Electronic Warfare and Military Communications.
