Experiential Education: A Global Perspective

When you think of Northeastern, the first thing that comes to mind is likely experiential education, more specifically the co-op program. What many students and prospective students may not realize, is that co-op is not Northeastern's only form of experiential learning.

For students in many majors, this experiential education requirement can be fulfilled by study abroad, and for those that do require co-op, Northeastern's global co-op program provides an excellent alternative.

Co-op is not the only form of experiential learning than can fulfill a student's graduation requirement. Northeastern offers four types of experiential education: co-op, study abroad, student research and service-learning, each of which can be completed in a global context.
