All accepted students will be registered for 3 courses at Northeastern while abroad on a Dialogue of Civilizations program.
The ABRD placeholder course is a zero (0) credit Pass/Fail course that will identify your location abroad. In addition to the ABRD placeholder each student will be registered for two (2) courses related to their specific Dialogue of Civilizations program. For more information on exactly what courses the student will be taking, please visit the specific program page.
If a student has a hold on their account, it must be cleared prior to the ABRD placeholder and course registration, and program departure. Students can view if they have any holds on the “View Holds” link on the Self-Service tab in their myNortheastern account. Failure to remove these holds prior to departure will result in withdrawal from the Dialogue of Civilizations program at the student’s expense.
