Ellen Zane delivered an engaging discussion to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and healthcare professionals on the important topic of “The Future of Healthcare.”
Ellen is a nationally known speaker who served as President CEO of Tufts Medical Center and the Floating Hospital for Children. She was the first woman and non-physician to hold the CEO position in the 220-year history of the hospital.

In April, Women Who Empower and Northeastern’s student-run Women’s Leadership Network co-hosted the inaugural Women’s Leadership Conference on the university’s Boston campus.
Northeastern President Joseph E. Aoun welcomed an interdisciplinary panel of young alumnae, which kicked off the two-day event aimed at inspiring and educating the next generation of women leaders. In addition to the panel discussion, the conference featured speakers from a wide breadth of industries.
