List Of Non-Hazardous Chemical Wastes

Stanford University has established an alphabetical listing of chemicals that have been evaluated and determined to be non-hazardous wastes. For materials that are put down the drain, please note the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) in many cases, has more restrictive requirements for most materials than those of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The materials on this list meet the MWRA requirements but you may want to review those restrictions on our MWRA Discharge Limits page.
