Every week, we post one more thing you MUST do before you graduate Northeastern. Tag us in/tweet us a picture of you doing our thing of the week, and you could win some pretty awesome prizes (including your favorite Husky swag)! #NUbucketlist   \r\n\r\nYo! Sushi\r\n\r\nLast week was the grand opening of Yo! Sushi in the Seaport District, and Bostonians have been buzzing about it ever since. I had the chance to attend their ribbon-cutting party to try a variety of their signature dishes and BOY, was it good.\r\n\r\nyo-sushi\r\n\r\nYo! Sushi brings your sushi dreams to life with one conveyor belt that snakes its way around the entire restaurant. The venue itself is brightly colored and trendy, with mini booths and lots of high chair seats. The conveyor belt brings around various dishes of different colors that all coordinate with a specific price ranging from $3 – $7. If you see anything you like, simply grab the dish off the belt and onto your table– eat everything first, and then pay by the colors of your plates later!\r\n\r\nBelow are a few highlight dishes of the evening. (Read on with caution. You WILL get hungry!)\r\n\r\nPotato Salada\r\n\r\nyo-1\r\n\r\nThis isn’t your typical American picnic food. With a light Japanese mustard/mayo combo with pickled carrots and celery, this dish puts a twist on potato salad. \r\n\r\nAlbacore Truffle Ponzu Tataki\r\n\r\nyo-2\r\n\r\nIf you’ve never had ponzu sauce, this seared tuna dish is a game-changer. The citrusy sauce and smoked flavor of the fish make for a perfect combo.\r\n\r\nDragon Roll\r\n\r\nyo-3\r\n\r\nTypically, a dragon roll contains unagi, but Yo! Sushi creates their roll with salmon on top of a typical California roll with a scallion and shichimi powder garnish.\r\n\r\nMatcha Dorayaki\r\n\r\nyo-4\r\n\r\nFor traditional dessert, try matcha dorayaki: two green tea pancakes with a sweet, red bean filling! Dip it in a strawberry-red sauce for extra flavor. \r\n\r\nIce Cream Mochi\r\n\r\nyo-5\r\n\r\nThis dish contains a duo of glutinous rice balls filled with strawberry and green tea ice cream.\r\n\r\nThe address of the restaurant is at 79 Seaport Blvd and has quickly become the hot lunch spot in the Seaport District. If any of this piqued your interest, they are also running a month-long promotion for 33% off your entire meal!!! Click here to claim your deal.
