The World in Your Cup: Conversations on the Politics and Culture of Coffee

When you hold a cup of coffee, you hold a world of issues in the palm of your hand. Join us for the World in your Cup: Conversations on Politics and the Culture of Coffee series, curated by Erika Koss, assistant dean for strategic partnerships and outreach for the College of Social Sciences and Humanities. On Monday, February 27, Christopher Hendon, MIT post-doc in computational chemistry and co-author of the book Water for Coffee, will discuss “Why Water Matters & the Chemistry of Coffee.” The event will be held at 6:30 p.m.; location TBD. This series is presented by the Northeastern Consortium on Food Systems, Sustainability, Health, and Equity and the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs, and sponsored by Northeastern’s Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion.
