October 23, 2019 @ 4:00 pm - 5:15 pm
Join Khoury College of Computer Sciences and the LGBTQA Resource Center as Natalie Egan, founder and CEO of Translator, shares her experiences in the tech industry. Natalie Egan and her team are on a mission to scale empathy and equality through technology. She lives her life at the intersection of technology and Diversity & Inclusion, combining her 20 years of experience driving digital change, developing high performing teams, and selling enterprise solutions with her experiences as an openly transgender B2B software entrepreneur. In this customizable and highly interactive session, Natalie will use Translator’s Diversity & Inclusion technology platform to guide the audience through an anonymous virtual “Privilege Walk” (no app or download required). After a quick debrief, Natalie will share her life story (to pictures) highlighting her personal journey to self-awareness and empathy through the lens of her transition from male-to-female as a CEO in corporate America and the lessons learned along the way.
