Critical Race Theory Workshop: “Race-ing for Property Rights: Racial Oppression in the Law.”

Please join the Multicultural Law Student Association as they host "Race-ing for Property Rights: Racial Oppression in the Law."  Professor Melvin J. Kelley will discuss John A. Powell's theory of race as a social construct. This workshop will also unpack his proposition that race operates as a verb before having significance as a noun. The workshop will also discuss the rectification of racial subordination through the prism of property law and micro-aggressions as tools of discrimination. Lunch provided.
