Bahay Kubo, Barkada's annual culture show hosted every spring, celebrates our love of Filipino culture and provides an opportunity for us to share our culture with the community!
As part of the performance, Barkada performs 5 traditional dances choreographed by various Barkada members!
This week, our choreographers will be hosting an introduction workshop for their dance in which they will discuss the cultural significance and history of the dance. Following the discussion, choreographers will also teach the basic steps of the dance.
Whether you're interested in performing at Bahay Kubo or just simply want to learn about the dance, come through to our various practices this week!
