BARI Releases Updated Census Indicators on Boston Data Portal

BARI has published updated demographic, socioeconomic, and housing indicators for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from the 2011-2015 American Community Survey in the Boston Data Portal .

The release includes 45 indicators across 7 categories: 1) Sex, Age, and Density; 2) Racial and Ethnic Composition; 3) Economic measures; 4) Family and Household information; 5) Highest Level of Education completed; 6) Method of Transportation to Work;  7) Housing. They can be visualized through BostonMap or downloaded in spreadsheet form with variable-by-variable documentation through the Boston Data Library. They are available at both the census tract and block group levels. In addition, we have added to the Boston Data Library all available indicators for census blocks for the Commonwealth.
