Professor Suzanna Walters seeks a graduate research assistant at 10 hour/week (to be combined with another 10 hour/week assistantship) to begin September 2018.
The successful candidate will have some graduate training in feminist scholarship, a familiarity with and interest in interdisciplinary scholarship and methods (social science especially), excellent electronic and archival research skills (and background in both), and command of related computer applications. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a capacity for meticulous attention to detail, superb record keeping, the ability to work independently, excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, an ability to work flexibly (possibly putting in more hours at some times than at others).
The graduate research assistant will be paid a stipend and benefits, including tuition, per the university guidelines for such positions. This position can be combined with a second assistantship of equal time commitment. Please note that this position is only for those graduate students holding graduate assistantships for the coming academic year. Working hours are flexible.
