Master's of Science

Security and Resilience Studies

The first graduate program of its kind designed to help public and private sector professionals manage many of the challenges unique to today’s world. Terrorism, cyber attacks, natural disasters, and more threaten our communities, companies, and countries like never before. Meeting these challenges requires building resilience into the critical systems, networks, and infrastructure we depend on.

Low Residency Option

Northeastern offers a low-residency alternative for this program, too. Students spend four weekends in Boston during each of the fall and spring semesters, and participate in experiential core classes with the rest of their cohort. All electives can be completed online—ideal for students who live outside of Boston.
