Professor Joan Fitzgerald was recently elected to the Board of the Regional Science Association as the newly appointed editor-in-chief of the Regions and Cities book series (published by Routledge).
The announcement came after she gave an invited plenary talk in June entitled, “Greenovation: Linking Regional Development and Climate Action,” at the Regional Science Association Annual Conference in Dublin, Ireland.
Fitzgerald also participated on a panel at the same conference as a discussant of a new book, Local & Regional Economic Development.
