Human Services alumni gathered in a conference room in the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 29, for a first of a kind event that combined pasta, chicken Parmesan, and other Italian delights with a discussion of the current and the future states of their chosen profession.
The purpose of the event was to bring Human Services alumni together to support each other. Following introductions, which revealed a diverse array of backgrounds and career paths among participants, folks dispersed into smaller groups and asked each other a series of questions about their experiences with the Human Services Program. The conversation was lively, and the alumni reported their positive experiences and provided guidance for curriculum innovation and career development.
