Northeastern and our department offer a variety of programs to give our students a global perspective on their studies. Professors Bucar, Sandler, and Setta have taken students to Spain, Costa Rica, and Rome as part of Northeastern’s Dialogue of Civilizations Program. Professor Setta also offers a class on Pagans, Jews and Christians in Rome that includes a Spring break trip to the Eternal City.
In addition, many philosophy and religious studies majors have headed off to a variety of semester-long programs venturing to places such as Oxford, Paris, and Ireland for philosophy and London to the School of Oriental and African studies.
You can find our co-op students teaching English in a primary school in China, as a Teaching Assistant for Northeastern’s freshman international semester, in a law office in El Salvador, and in a Nato internship in Rome.
