The Economics workshop features work in progress by doctoral students and occasional faculty presentations.

Each workshop meets once a week during lunch (BYO) and is open to all economics graduate students and faculty.

Presenter for the August 23 workshop:  Christian Peukert

Christian Peukert is an applied economist (PhD University of Munich) interested in innovation, intellectual property, digitization and the industrial organization of media markets. His research is empirical, mainly using secondary data from surveys, clickstream data, and data collected from the web, including Twitter and YouTube. Currently Christian is a post-doc at the University of Zurich, Switzerland and will join Catolica Lisbon as an Assistant Professor in September 2017.

With colleagues at LMU Munich, he runs the Internet Observatory project.
