A course shell (or course template) is created in Blackboard based on a data feed from the university’s system of record, Banner. This information is fed into Blackboard on the following basis:
- 150 – 90 days before class starts: Once a week on Fridays, 3:30am EST
- 90 days or less before class starts: Once an hour on the half-hour (e.g. 3:30am, 4:30am, etc.)
If you need access earlier than 150 days before the start of class, or if you believe you should be able to see your class but cannot, please contact your academic unit.
