Transitioning to an online learning environment presents both opportunities and challenges. The Online Course Design Orientation Program is designed to both familiarize faculty with formats and conventions of online learning and to empower participants to design and develop an online course based on principles of learning science. Activities in the program scaffold the development of a framework of an online course, and help faculty design engaging instructional activities, feedback and assessments that capitalize on the online environment.

During the first two weeks of August, CATLR will offer an intensive version of its Online Course Design Orientation Program in an online, asynchronous format.  This session will run from August 1st through August 12th. Participants should be able to devote approximately 2-3 hours every 3 days to complete the program.
