Hi my name is Alex Bernard and I am the Germany co-op connector. I'm a 3rd year Finance & Economics dual major. I like planning events and bringing people together so I hope everyone has time to meet up and hang out!
I am working in the consulting field for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Frankfurt Germany. This is my second co-op and second time in Germany. At Northeastern I tutor German and economics, so if you have any German grammar questions, feel free to send them my way!

Khloe Lewis – Boston Connector Committee

Hi, my name is Khloe Lewis and I'm currently a sophomore Political Science and Communication Studies student at Northeastern University, originally from Mamaroneck, New York. I'm currently on Co-op at MassDOT working in Legislative Affairs. I'm an avid film enthusiast, love the thrill of a concert, am constantly looking for a good reason to dress up and hope that one day the abundance of trivia stored in my brain will serve me well on Jeopardy. Can't wait to start event planning!

Utsav Khandelwal – Boston Connector Committee


Hellloz!   I am Utsav but people love to call me 'UTV'. I am studying power systems in   ECE at Northeastern. Currently I am doing my coop at STV and did my internship in LA! I miss LA so much, the weather, food, people and what else!!

Besides working on coop, I am VP of Social Affairs and ISSI student leader for 2014 term. I love to meet new people and make them laugh by my PJ's.  I am really excited to be a coop connector and discover boston more dynamically now. Excited to see you all there!

Hi, my name is Scarlett Ho. I am a sophomore doing a double major in International Affairs and Political Science, with a minor in Law and Public Policy. I was born in Florida, but grew up in Hong Kong, an international cosmopolitan city. I am currently doing my first co-op with Congressman Stephen F. Lynch from the Massachusetts 8th Congressional District, and also concurrently doing a part-time internship with Representative Jeffrey Sánchez at the Massachusetts State House. I love languages, arts, and classical ballet.

Hi! My name is Maya and I am a forth year finance student currently on my third co-op at PayPal. I'm from Massachusetts originally (about 20 minutes outside of Boston) and I like art, movies, and baking. I was part of co-op connections last year and I'm excited to join the committee again this year!

Leslie Montag – Boston Connector Committee

Hey oh! I'm Leslie Montag, a fifth year International Business major concentrating in finance with minors in Spanish and Exercise Science, a bit of a mouthful. Currently, I'm on my third co-op as a Research Analyst at Brooke Private Equity Associates.

Last year I was abroad in Madrid, Spain and was a co-op connector there so I'm ready to bring a little fiesta and siesta to our co-ops in Boston! While I'm originally from San Diego, CA since being at NU I have fallen in love with Boston. I can't wait to get the events rolling to have people appreciate the city like I do and spice these co-ops up a bit more!

Hey there! I'm Kim, a middler business student with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. I'm originally from Long Island, but absolutely love living in Boston and continuing to discover all that the city has to offer. Currently, I'm co-oping as the Junior Content Author for a small tech company called Smartleaf.

A few of my favorite things include: concert-going, stand-up and improv comedy, anything made by Flour bakery, Husky puppies, and Portlandia.

I am a second year hoping to graduate Northeastern with a degree in Marketing & Finance, and a minor in Economics. Currently I work at Shoebuy.com in downtown Boston and am loving it! Although I grew up outside of Philadelphia my family now lives in Rome, which has really spurred my passion for travel. I love crafts, design, and socializing and am really excited about the opportunity to channel these interests into the committee!

Hi! My name is Luisa and I'm a middler on my first co-op. My major is Communication Studies and my co-op is event planning at Harvard Medical School. I'm originally from NY but I'm loving all that Boston has to offer. I enjoy meeting and connecting with new people and am looking forward to coming up with events for other students on co-op. In my free time I like discovering new music and reading celebrity gossip.

Susanna Edens – Dublin

Hi! My name is Susanna Edens. I am from North Jersey and I am currently a junior at NU. I am majoring in Health Sciences and hoping to pursue another major in Philosophy. This is my second international coop and I am so excited! For my first coop, I was a medical volunteer in Ecuador and Peru. This semester, I will be working at St. James Hospital in Dublin as a lab assistant. I like to spend my time exploring, reading, and drinking coffee. I'm excited to start planning events and meeting all of you!

Julia Kern – Athens

Julia Kern is a second year student, working on her first co-op at the European Public Law Organization, in Athens, Greece. She previously was a participant in NUin Greece, in 2012.  Julia is looking forward to planning events in Athens!

Bryce Wassa – Northern California

My name is Bryce Wassa and I am a current Junior at NEU on coop here in California at Tesla Motors. This is my second coop stint in California and I am looking forward to advising everyone on the best ways to make the most of their 6 months out in this Golden State. Be it playing sports, hiking, exploring, beaching, camping, dining, or just hanging, I look forward to joining everyone or simply offering my two cents on things to do for anyone that is interested. I am currently living in Sunnyvale (bottom of the bay area), and plan on making frequent trips to Santa Cruz beaches, hiking spots like Mission Peak in Fremont or Muir Woods up past Sausalito, or volleyball as many weekends as I can. I look forward to seeing you all out here!

Ryan Ulrich – Chicago

My name is Ryan and I am a Junior Industrial Engineering major currently on my 3rd and final co-op working for GE Zenith Controls as a Lean Manufacturing co-op. I am currently living in Wilmette, a suburb about 30 minutes north of downtown, and I was born and raised mostly in the Greater Chicago Area. One of my favorite hobbies has always been exploring the city, and even more so showing it off to new people. At Northeastern, I am a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, and I have been a Community Ambassador for Off Campus Student Services, a Red Watch Band Trainer for O.P.E.N., and I had my first two co-ops at TJX, and Northeastern's very own Healthcare Systems Engineering Institute. I am a huge sports fan (Chicago sports of course), I love going to music festivals and new concerts, and have recently taken up long distance running and personal fitness challenges like half marathons, 5Ks, and Tough Mudders. I look forward to meeting all of you, and hope you can learn to love the city of Chicago as much as I do!

Catherine Patchell – San Diego

Hello! My name is Catherine Patchell and I'm a 3rd year Computer Science and Interactive Media dual major.  I am currently on my first co-op with Intuit in San Diego, California.  I'm very involved back on campus, so I'm excited for the opportunity to stay connected to the NU community while living on the other side of the country.  This is the first time that I have been on the west coast, so I'm ready to explore and experience the many things California has to offer!

Ben Adams – New York City

Hi, my name is Ben Adams. I am a fourth year double major in Political Science and Communication Studies on my third co-op with Barclays Capital.  I spend my days working on the US Interest Rate Trade Control team.  My two previous co-ops were with Gov. Mitt Romney's presidential campaign doing logistics and event planning. Last year, I spent six months studying abroad in Cape Town, South Africa. I am really looking forward adding to my Northeastern experience in NYC exploring, meeting new people, and having a great time!

My name is Malik Blue and I'm from Malden, MA which is just outside of Boston. I'm a 4th year International Business Major with a Spanish minor. I'm currently studying in Spain for the year and will begin my second co-op at L'Oreal in Madrid working in the Logistics department starting in March. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends, traveling and watching movies.

Evan Bruning – Washington DC

Evan Bruning is a second year International Affairs and Economics Major with minors in Political Science and Arabic. Hailing from Vermont, he is currently working as an Intern for the Office of Senator Bernie Sanders. Last summer he went on a Dialogue to Jordan, and this next summer is planning on going to the Balkans. In his spare time he enjoys reading, following the news, skiing, and watching House of Cards. Evan looks forward to meeting everyone and planning awesome events for the spring!

Rebecca Yukelson – New York City

Hi! I'm Rebecca. I'm a third year graphic design and interactive media major originally from Los Angeles. I am co-oping in New York City at Guy Carpenter doing digital marketing. At Northeastern I play club water polo and do publicity for Hillel.

In my free time I enjoy doing freelance design, shopping, musicals, hiking and more! I love traveling and meeting new people and am so excited to get to know all of the other students in New York!

Olivia Nguyen – London


Olivia is a fourth year studying International Business. She is currently on co-op with the Kobalt Music Group and has a penchant for travel, food, and music. She recently completed a study abroad at Lancaster University, which is located in rural northwestern England. She gained experience with event planning after completing an internship with tech startup eMuze, where she helped coordinate a nationwide concert tour featuring artists Kendrick Lamar and Steve Aoki. This is her first time in Europe and she is excited to plan some awesome events that everyone will enjoy. Cheers!

Nathan Guerin – Mexico City

Hey y'all, my name is Nathan Guerin and I'm a second year history major minoring in business.  I'm from Raleigh, North Carolina and I am currently on my first coop with the commercial section of the US embassy in Mexico City. At Northeastern I was an Orientation Leader this past summer, a CEP mentor, a leadership consultant with LEAD360, and an Honors mentor.  I enjoy meeting new people, crosswords, hockey, and traveling.  I look forward to getting all the Mexico City coops together for dinners, small trips, salsa dancing (anyone?) and any other event ideas from you guys!

I am currently on co-op with Entertainment Fusion Group in Los Angeles, California. I absolutely love going to school in Boston and traveling around the world for co-op, dialogues and study abroad! I am very excited to be a part of the Co-op Connector Committee and to explore a new city with new friends.

I'm currently on my second co-op in Seattle, WA working at Amazon Web Services on their Global Marketing Programs team. I completed my first co-op with John Hancock as a Freedom 529 Sales Assistant. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, reading, and blogging. I'm excited to explore Seattle with Co-Op Connectors and look forward to meeting everyone!

Maggie Lam – San Francisco

Hey, my name is Maggie. I'm a Junior, double concentration in Business Management Information Systems and Marketing. I grew up in NYC but always enjoy traveling to new places. This past summer, I used savings from my first co-op to backpack Europe with a friend! Currently, I'm completing my second and last co-op at Bluewolf in San Francisco, CA. I love trying new things, especially food, and enjoy collecting vinyl records and attending music festivals (Coachella 2014 ticket already bought)! I also like snowboarding, running, watching films, and attempting to learn the ukulele. Moving across the country to California was always a dream of mine, so I'm excited to get creative with events, and give everyone the chance to have fun and get to know each other!
