Laura Shrago – NYC Co-op Connector

Hi!!! I’m Laura and I’m so excited to be the co-op connector for New York this semester. I’m a third year graphic design major, originally from Sharon, MA, and I’m currently on co-op for the first time at KIND (because of which I have an abundance of KIND bars in my room at all times). On campus, I’m in concert band (I play bassoon!), and I’m in the student-led design studio (Scout). I look forward to getting to meet you and hearing about what types of activities you’d like to see planned for the next few months!

Mohamed Al Hammadi – Dubai Co-op Connector

My name is Mohamed Al Hammadi from United Arab Emirates. I’m a 2nd year business major with concertation on finance/entrepreneurship and a minor in international affairs. I live in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, because I have relatives in both cities. I went to high school in Silicon Valley, California and I fought internationally in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments with the UAE National Team. I’m now doing my coop at a consulting firm in Dubai. I can’t wait to meet you guys to show you my country and give you the authentic Emirati experience.

Carris Lahey – Madrid Co-op Connector

Hello! I’m Carris, a fifth year International Business student, currently co-oping in Madrid, Spain. I spent the past year taking classes at a Spanish University and living in Malasaña. I will be graduating in Spain next spring. I am currently co-oping at a small Spanish communications consulting firm. I’m looking forward to meeting Northeastern students new to Madrid and planning some great events for this co-op cycle! Please reach out to me if you have any ideas!

Joanna Zanghi – Tokyo Co-op Connector

My name is Joanna Zanghi and I am the Co-op Connector in Tokyo, Japan. I am really excited to get together with all the co-op students in Tokyo. I am currently a fourth year studying Finance, Entrepreneurship and International Affairs. I am currently doing a co-op at Salesforce. I hope I can meet with you all and let me know if you have any questions about Japan. 

Serena DiLiberti – Hannover, Germany Co-op Connector

My name is Serena DiLiberti and I am a chemistry major in my third year at NEU. For coop, I am working in an organic chemistry lab at Leibniz University in Hannover, Germany. I would describe myself as fun-loving, organized, and hard-working. I love adventure, travel, swimming, and food. While this is my first coop, I have studied abroad in Greece for NUin, so I am familiar with spending time in and traveling around Europe!

Phil Gunderson – Seattle Co-op Connector

I am a rising senior studying Environmental Engineering. This is my second co-op working at an environmental consulting firm. I came to Seattle to explore its food, music, and outdoor scenes. In my free time I love to run, bike, and cook. I am living in Magnolia, but looking forward to exploring Seattle's many awesome neighborhoods such as Ballard and Capitol Hill.

Carly Rudiger – Silicon Valley Connector

Hi, my name is Carly Rudiger and I am going into my fourth year at Northeastern with a major in Marketing and a minor in Global Social Enterprise. I grew up in Palo Alto and Carmel, California, so I have lots of ideas about fun places we can go in the area! In my free time, I love to go hiking and adventuring along the coast (as long as there's dark chocolate at the end of the journey). I'm currently doing my co-op at VMWare, working as a Digital Strategist. David Iken – Silicon Valley Co-op Connector

Hi! My name is David Iken and I am going into my fifth year at Northeastern with majors in Marketing and Management Information Systems. I grew up in St. Louis, MO and love traveling and exploring new places! I'm currently doing my co-op at VMWare, working on the global marketing campaigns team. I can’t wait to make the most of our time here and see all the Bay Area has to offer! Chev Eldrid – Silicon Valley Co-op Connector

Hey guys! My name is Chev and I'm a fourth year computer science major. Previously I've worked at GMO in Boston and now I'm at Hercules Capital in Palo Alto. I love to hike, bike, and explore so I'm hoping this position gives me an opportunity to share these experiences with the rest of the northeastern community. Kavita Singh – San Francisco Co-op Connector

My name is Kavita Singh and I am entering my fifth year at Northeastern.  My third co-op is in San Mateo, where I am an investment banking intern for a small M&A capital advisory firm called Arbor Advisors.  I currently am majoring in economics and finance, and have a passion for social justice issues! Last summer, I helped launch a student led mental and physical health campaign called Students Working for an Accessible Northeastern.  

Alex McCalmont – LA Co-op Connector

Hey everyone! My name is Alex McCalmont and I’m a 4th year mechanical engineer on co-op at NASA JPL in Pasadena. I am originally from New Hampshire and enjoy a wide range of interests including skiing, flying, wakesurfing, and photography. On campus I’m involved in AIAA (“rocket club”) and Beta Theta Pi fraternity. I am very excited to be in the LA area and looking forward to setting up some fun events for us all. I hope to get everyone involved so If you have an idea you would like to do as an event, please let me know! See you all around.

Josh Hoffman – DC Co-op Connector

My name is Josh Hoffman, and I'm a rising fourth year studying computer science with a minor in math. I'm born and raised in the Chicago area, but I have really enjoyed living on the East Coast. I'm currently co-oping at a government contractor called Data Machines (whose cofounder and my boss is also a Northeastern alum) as a software engineer. On campus, I'm involved in Hillel, the center for Jewish Life, and my Fraternity, but I spend most of my time partying in Club Snell. I'm excited to meet you all, plan some awesome events, and have some fun around the Capital! 

Natascha Elbech – DC Co-op Connector

Hi! I'm a third-year International Affairs major with minors in Global Social Enterprise and Women's Studies. I'm originally from Denmark, but I grew up in the DC Metropolitan Area, so I am very excited to co-oping in my hometown for the next six months! I love exploring museums, going to concerts, and anything related to food, and am looking forward to sharing that with all of you while planning events here in the nation's capital. 

Jack Reimer – Chicago Co-op Connector

Jack Reimer is a Research Assistant at the UChicago Urban Labs where he provides assistance on randomized evaluations of programs and policies that regard the intersection of poverty, energy consumption and the climate. He completed his first co-op at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab. Jack is a Politics, Philosophy and Economics major with a minor in Math. He is an armchair art critique and, in another life, likes to believe that he would have had a much greater disposition for sports. In the mean time, he's a movie fan, an avid podcaster and advocate for Yelp services.

Carolina Bellani – Boston Connector Committee

Hi! I’m Carolina Bellani, an international student from Italy. I’m entering my third year at Northeastern while doing my first co-op at Framework (a subsidiary of HPN). I’m majoring in Marketing and Suppy Chain, and last semester I was part of the Fashion and Retail Society Club and NUMA, at Northeastern. I love walking around the city and try new restaurants (especially if it’s Italian or Asian food!). I also have a passion for tennis and reading mystery novels when I have time!

My name is Evani, I'm from Bulgaria and am beginning my third year at Northeastern. I'm studying business and my concentrations are marketing, accounting, and finance. I'm currently doing my first co-op at EF Education First. I love cooking/baking, crafting, and traveling.

Rachana Movva – Boston Connector Committee

Hi! I’m Rachana Movva and am a second year Data Analytics graduate student at Northeastern. I’m currently on a co-op as a Data Governance Analyst at State Street Corporation. In my free time, I enjoy photography and traveling. I’ve had previous events organizing experience and would love to organize events and be a part of them.

Hi! My name is Shawlenee Peart and I am a civil engineering major. I am currently on my second co-op at Howard Stein Hudson. I'm originally from Jamaica and my interest includes drawing, traveling and dancing.

Ze Min Lee – Boston Connector Committee

My name is ZeMin. I am majoring in psychology and I am in my final year at Northeastern University. I am currently on my third an final co-op at Boston Medical Center in their Psychiatry Research department where I am working on clinical trials aimed at treating people with alcohol and cocaine use disorder.

Ekta Sirwani – Boston Connector Committee

Hello Everyone! I am Grad student of Information Assurance and Cyber Security. I am from India originally and currently on co-op at MFS, Boston. My hobbies include reading, painting and dancing. I look forward to meeting everyone and planning on exciting events.

Hi everyone! My name is Xilei(Leilei) and I'm a graduate student studying in Economics at College of Social Sciences and Humanities. I'm currently working as a co-op at Attorney General's Office as a Budget and Human resources Assistant. In my free time I enjoy cooking, reading, swimming and discovering good restaurants. My name is Julia and I'm a fifth year Computer Science major! I'm currently on my second co-op as a Front-End Developer with Blueport Commerce right in the South End next to SoWa. I love going out and exploring Boston through runs or trying new restaurants!

Hi everyone! My name is Mukunda and I'm a fourth year chemical engineering student at Northeastern. I finished my first co-op at Northwestern University last year and lived in Chicago for six months. I'm currently working in the product development team at 24M Technologies for my second co-op in Boston. Alyxandra (Lexi) Spikerman – Boston Connector Committee

I am a fourth year Computer Engineering student on my second co-op as a Software Engineer at Catalant Technologies in the Seaport. In the past, I've worked at Cisco Systems in San Jose, CA and studied abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland and Geneva, Switzerland. When on campus, I'm actively involved in the entrepreneurship community.

Casey Rochette – Boston Connector Committee

Hi there! My name is Casey I'm a fourth year journalism major and a transfer student. I'm currently on my first co-op at The Boston Globe working for the events team! Outside of work you'd probably find me at some sort of concert. My other interests include hole-in-the-wall shops, tiny restaurants in the North End and seeing how lost I can get via public transportation.

Hello everyone. I am a graduate student, doing my Masters in IoT. I am doing my co-op in Downtown, Boston as Information systems and Business analyst. I love biking, traveling, reading, blogging and cooking. I love working with Bridges international and Rotaract clubs and NUIoT community.

My name is Celia Graham and I am a Business Major with a concentration in Finance. I previously co-open at The Boston Globe and am now a co-op at The TJX Companies. I loved being a part of the committee last fall and can not wait to be a part of it again!
