Volunteers are an integral part of the Daily Table family. As we continue to receive more produce from our agricultural and retail partners, the need for volunteers grows.
Volunteers can expect to:
sort and prepare produce in our receiving area for sale or for kitchen use
label and package prepared foods alongside our kitchen staff
help cooks in the kitchen
stock retail shelves
stock/reorganize cooler and freezer units
interact with customers in our food sampling/engagement area
assist with administrative tasks in our 420 Washington St. office
No kitchen or food preparation experience is necessary; most tasks are done while standing; closed toe shoes are a must. Health and safety protocols will be reviewed during our volunteer orientation, along with an overview of Daily Table and its mission. We ask that kitchen volunteers work with us for a minimum of 3 hours. All other volunteers are welcome to donate as much time as they would like/are able.
