Volunteer Babysit with SWOB!

As a college student you understand the work and the expenses that a college education requires…imagine doing everything that you do, with a young child! Our organization trains volunteers and sends them to client’s homes- low income mothers- single moms and mothers of recent immigrant families- around Greater Boston- to provide free weekly babysitting sessions of up to four hours while they are in college classes.

Empower a mother to get her Associates or Bachelors degree, and get her family out of the cycle of poverty! There is opportunity for regular, weekly volunteering of up to four hours, or the opportunity to Substitute on a more occasional basis throughout the semester. We work around your experience, availability and preferences to find a family that is a great match.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those who enjoy and have experience working with or babysitting children, to get involved with unique and fun community service with a vital mission. Our organization relies on the work of our volunteers, and we welcome you to apply today!
