Family Gym is a health and wellness program for children and families ages 3-8 years old and is run by the Foundation for BCYF. Our goal is childhood obesity prevention. We teach children and families fun ways to fit physical activity, nutrition, and other healthy habits into their lives. Our program is free to all patrons of Boston and runs on Saturday mornings only. Family Gym is looking for any volunteers that are interested in health, nutrition, physical activity, obesity prevention, or working with children to join the team! Volunteers serve as Student Activity Leaders, and are in charge of running all the gym games with the children and families on Saturday mornings. We do not run the program during winter break or summer.
Dates of Service: 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, 2/16, 2/23, 3/2, 3/16, 3/23, 3/30, 4/6, 4/13
