OVERVIEW OF PROGRAM:
The Pediatric Wellness Program seeks to provide all children with access to healthy extracurricular options, regardless of background or ability. After school programs include sports and cooking classes for children and their families nearly every day of the week throughout the year. These programs are intended to encourage kids to adopt healthier lifestyle habits, make friends, and learn new skills. The after school and summer program offerings run in sessions, each lasting 5-7 weeks. The programs are affordable and open to the public. There are weekly programs such as South End Stars, Junior Chefs, Youth Leadership, and Dance to Win that have been running for that past three years. Other weekly programs are constantly rotating depending on the needs and interests of patients and families. While these programs are run by Pediatric Wellness and dedicated volunteers, they are often run in coordination with multiple community partners throughout the South End.

For this current summer session starting on July 9th-August 24th we are seeking volunteers to help support on the following days and times:
Monday: Family Yoga: 3pm-4pm
Tuesday: Youth Martial Arts: 5pm-6pm
Wednesday: Junior Chefs: 5pm-6:30pm
Thursday: Urbanity Dance: 3pm-5pm
Friday: Adventure Fridays: 10am-3pm

We are also seeking individuals that would be open and interested in working in the fall (September) in our after-school program (days and times TBD).
