Change of Address:

Students can update their address(es) via myNortheastern.

  • Go to View Application to Graduate to change your address.
  • Please put the address that is best to mail your diploma. It does not have to be your current living address.
  • You must change your address 2 weeks prior to graduating.
Commencement and Student Record Name Change:

Complete this form and return it with the applicable documentation if you would like to change your name on your graduation application and diploma.

Your request must be processed by the Registrar’s Office no less than 6 weeks prior to the ceremony to ensure that your diploma will be printed correctly.

If you are changing your name 6 weeks after you’ve received your diploma, you will need to fill out the Replacement Diploma Form instead.

Notarization/Apostille:

Due to Northeastern’s guidance for staff to work remotely, we are unable to process Notorizations and Apostilles at this time.

Replacement/Copy Diploma:

Due to Northeastern’s guidance for staff to work remotely, there will be a delay with printed replacement diplomas. You will be notified when diplomas are able to be reprinted and we are unable to rush diplomas during this time.

There is a fee of $50 for each copy

PLEASE NOTE: Only students are authorized to order a replacement for themselves. Others are not permitted to order on behalf of another student.

If you have not received your original copy of your diploma, DO NOT FILL OUT THIS FORM. Please email us at commencement@northeastern.edu with your name, NUID, and graduation date so we can investigate the status of your diploma.
