First Annual Fireside Chat on AI, Privacy, War and World Politics, In honor of the life and legacy of Professor Ian Kerr, Co-Sponsored by CLIC, CSSH, and Khoury College of Computer Sciences
Date: November 21, 2019
Location: RP 909
Artificial intelligence is being deployed our homes, offices, on battlefields and across borders. But there is no consensus yet on how it should be built and used. Please join us for a fireside chat in memory of Professor Ian Kerr, whose trailblazing work on artificial intelligence and policy helped shape a movement and vision for a sustainable future with artificial intelligence where humans are safe and flourish. Drawing from multiple disciplines such as law, philosophy, international relations, and political science, this event brings together speakers and moderators from across campus and countries to reflect on the challenges and opportunities of automation on the global stage.
