College of Computer and Information Science (CCIS) Full-Time Faculty
The College of Computer and Information Science (CCIS) invites applications for positions at the rank of Lecturer/Assistant Teaching Professor/Associate Teaching Professor/Full Teaching Professor in the Computer Science ALIGN Program at the Charlotte campus beginning in January 2018. We are seeking highly-motivated individuals committed to excellence in teaching. Full-time appointments at all ranks are renewable, career-focused non-tenure-track positions with responsibilities in teaching and service. Primary responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in the Computer Science ALIGN Program. The successful candidate will create course content and materials and collaborate with colleagues to develop new academic programs and relationships with the business community. Student advising and service to the college and university are an integral component of the position. Opportunities for research and scholarship are possible. Classes meet weekday evenings. Fort Bragg Assistant Director, Military Outreach & Engagement (part-time)
This part-time contract position (12-15 hours a week) serves as the Fort Bragg Assistant Director, Military Outreach and Engagement, establishing and maintaining contacts in the local Fayetteville community to expand awareness about Northeastern and represent a strong brand. The assistant director will be responsible for recruiting qualified students and engaging alumni and the local community through local events, as well as covering the admissions office during assigned hours. The Charlotte campus is seeking an energetic, organized professional for the Marketing Assistant position (part-time, temporary). Primary duties include creating social media content, updating website and digital signs, and managing contacts database.
