Northeastern University Charlotte to Host Graduate Programs Open House April 30
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (April 12, 2016) – Northeastern University Charlotte will host a Graduate Programs Open House at their Uptown campus on Saturday, August 30 from 10AM-1PM. In addition to showcasing the 35 degree and certificate programs available, Northeastern students, faculty and alumni will be on hand to answer any questions about pursuing a graduate degree. This event is free but attendees should register here.
“Working professionals always have questions about the benefits of a graduate degree. Most often, we’re providing answers about career advancement opportunities and how to balance school, work, and family,” said Northeastern Regional Dean and CEO, Dr. Cheryl Richards. “Since our programs are designed with flexibility for busy adults and aligned to the needs of regional employers, students quickly realize both personal and career pay-offs.”
According to Dr. Richards, Northeastern’s highest demand programs locally include:
- Master of Education
- Doctor of Education
- MS in Information Assurance
- MS in Leadership
- MS in Project Management
- MSLD in Sports Leadership
- A new 8-week Bootcamp certificate program in Data Analytics
“Whether you want to advance in your chosen field or change careers entirely, a graduate degree can be a differentiator,” said Richards. “We have some wonderful success stories about students exploring a completely different field from their undergrad studies based on new interests and employer needs in the region.”
