If you are an engineer or science graduate interested in expanding your breadth of knowledge into the realms of business and management, our Master of Science in Engineering Management program is designed for you.
The program bridges the gaps between the fields of engineering, technology, and business with a focus on the art and science of planning, organizing, allocating, directing, and controlling the activities and resources of organizations engaged in engineering activities and technology development. An interdisciplinary curriculum prepares you with the theoretical, quantitative, and analytical skills and tools you’ll need to take a leadership position in engineering management and address complex business challenges with innovative, practical, and effective solutions.
Program Objectives
- Explore human, mathematical, entrepreneurial, managerial, and engineering aspects of project management
- Evaluate economic modeling and analysis techniques for developing practical, cost-effective solutions to engineering problems
- Understand the fundamental concepts of probability
- Investigate the theory, computation, and application of deterministic models to represent industrial operations
