We are participating in the 2015 NIRSA National Championships in Phoenix, Arizona from November 19th - 22nd and we need your help! Because we are a self-funded club sport with limited resources from Northeastern, we are primarily responsible for raising funds for uniforms and equipment, travel expenses, hotel costs, and tournament fees.
Throughout the season we work tirelessly practicing, traveling, playing games, balancing schoolwork and volunteering to raise money for our club. Your support is greatly appreciated to get us the equipment and resources we need to continue to have a successful record!
Northeastern Women's Soccer is a life-changing experience for many of its players. Aside from uniting players over a shared love of this sport, the club plays a role in academic success and life-long friendships. Teammates inspire each other to succeed- physically through team activities, practices and runs, and academically through team study sessions in the library and mentoring. There is always a helping hand for anyone who needs it on or off the field and the hard-working dynamic is an atmosphere that begs success from its players.
Our initial goal is $1,500 to cover the cost of our hotel rooms in Phoenix, Arizona. This will ensure lodging for 22 girls and 2 coaches for our 4 night stay.
The Northeastern Women’s Club Soccer team plays in the Women’s Region One Collegiate Club Soccer League (WROCCSL) during the fall season. We are in the New England East Division along with eight other teams including Boston University, Boston College, Brown, Tufts, MIT, St. A’s, UMass Lowell, and Holy Cross. We prove every season that we are one of the top teams in the region by maintaining a winning record and advancing to the final rounds in regionals. Our goal is to compete in the national championships at the end of each fall season.
