"Finding the Leader NU" Spring Regional Conference

Video produced by the Resident Student Association 2013

The Northeastern Resident Student Association (RSA) has been selected to host the Northeast Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (NEACURH) regional conference in March 2013. The conference brings together RSA delegations from area schools for a weekend of programming, advocacy, and collaboration.

This is the first time Northeastern will be hosting the regional conference, and it is a great opportunity for us to showcase our campus and our leaders. Hosting the conference is a very prestigious honor and will be a tremendous learning experience for us, particularly our newer members.

The conference aims to help student leaders learn how to improve residential life at their respective campuses, as well as their own leadership skills. This experience will allow us to make a positive impact on our peers and grow as an organization. With your help we will be able to make the conference a success and truly highlight to the region all that Northeastern and its outstanding student leaders have to offer.

Our Goal

We are looking for all the help we can get in order to make this conference affordable for our delegates! Our first funding goal is $500, which will go towards subsidizing food and transportation costs. We hope to be able to transport our delegates back and forth from their hotel and provide full meals and snacks throughout the conference to keep everyone going!

About the Resident Student Association

The Resident Student Association is one of Northeastern's largest student organizations, focusing on advocacy and programming to improve residential life on our campus. We collaborate with other student groups and with residential life to put on various programs on campus, and are constantly working to strengthen the Northeastern community. We are also affiliated with the regional board of RSA's in the northeast, as well as a national board.
