Spring 2018 Career Fairs

Instead of one large career fair, the Office of Career Development will host industry-specific Career Fair events. These events offer students a great opportunity to network with a variety of employers and learn about any available co-op, internship or full-time opportunities. Three of these events will take place in the spring 2018 semester. Registration information is posted on NUCareers and is only open to Northeastern students and graduates.

The list below includes events planned for spring 2018:

  • SPRING 2018 ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY CAREER FAIR - Thursday, February 1, 2018, 11am-4pm* Cabot Athletic Center, 400 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA

For those students unable to register for the Career Fair we will be producing a Spring 2018 resume book to share with all of the 150 2018 Engineering and Technology Career Fair employers.

Career Fair Connections Week – March 12 – March 16, 2018

Once you have received a registration confirmation more information will be provided on where and when to pick up your lanyard for the fair.

The Business Career Fair is an educational and career-focused event and is an excellent way for you to network with representatives from business and entrepreneurial organizations, learn about jobs, co-op, and internships, and discover exciting opportunities available in these fields.

Northeastern has recruited innovative Business and Entrepreneurial companies interested in hiring students and alumni for co-ops, internships, as well as part-time/full-time job opportunities.

Professional representatives from Techtronic Industries (TTI), Teach for America, as well as Work, Community, and Independence (WCI), and more will offer you advice on how to successfully prepare for the upcoming Spring 2018 Career Fairs: (1) Business and Entrepreneurship on Tuesday, March 13th, and (2) Social Service, Non-Profit, and Government on Friday, March 16th. You will learn how to make the most of your experience at the Career Fairs. Remember, it's important to prepare and make a great first impression with employers. Attend this panel session to hear from recruiters what you can do to ensure successful events. There will also be a Question and Answer session where you will be able to ask your questions to the panelists, and afterwards have an opportunity to network with the Employers.

The Social, Non-Profit and Government Careers Fair is a unique opportunity for Northeastern students for students seeking non-technical roles to network and connect with employers from a wide range of disciplines. This fair is open to all undergraduate and graduate students interested in pursuing the many facets of the human services, non-profit, mission-driven organizations and government-related industries (Local, State, and Federal).

Top employers come to Northeastern recruit for internships and full-time jobs in a wide range of fields; these representatives will be vital contacts for you to make as you are thinking about your search in the government and non-profit sectors. Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about careers in government and non-profit and to network with employers.

FOR ALL EVENTS - NO BACKPACK/BAG POLICY

ATTENTION STUDENTS: NUPD is strongly urging attendees not to bring  BACKPACKS OR BAGS. Please LEAVE YOUR BACKPACK/BAG AT HOME before coming to the fair. If you need to bring a bag, it will be searched before entering the Cabot Athletic Center or the Curry Student Center Indoor Quad by security personnel, and you MUST leave it in the Student Prep Area before entering the career fair exhibit hall. If you bring your backpack/bag into the exhibit hall, you will be asked to either return it to the Student Prep Area or leave the venue. Thank You for your cooperation.
