  3. Suggest that your student attend events (Employer Engagement and Career Design Event Calendar) – students report that they come when you weigh in.

How We Work with Students

  • One-on-one appointments for self-assessment, career exploration, decision making, job search strategy, networking advice and interview practice
  • Resume visit the Career Studio at Stearns Center
  • Graduating Student job search small groups several times/week
  • Workshops, career information series and special events to provide information and training
  • Assistance with applying to Graduate school, Fellowships and doing a Gap Year
  • Web based resources:
    • NUcareers is a Northeastern job and internship bank and employer database
    • Going Global, a resource for exploring international possibilities
    • InterviewStream, an interview practice tool
  • Career Fairs, for all students to explore employers
  • On-Campus Recruiting, for graduating students
  • Opportunities to meet employers in Information Sessions, and Employer in Residence
