Non-Student Members Information

We are excited to announce that both the Marino Recreation Center and SquashBusters Center will be re-opening at 6am on Friday, September 11, 2020. We are introducing our new reservation system for your individualized workout experience, utilizing the Atleto App. Download the free IOS or Android app via the App Store and Google Play.

Additionally, we will be implementing changes to significantly increase sanitation measures along with the preservation of appropriate social and physical distancing through reducing overall density in both facilities. The Cabot Center track, turf field, and the swimming pool will not be open in the fall initially, except for supervised access for varsity student-athletes on a limited basis.

We will continue to offer our virtual programming along with individual in-person options. We are very excited to be opening back up and we hope that you will join us in-person and virtually!

Campus Recreation 2019-2020 Membership Holders Update

As we move toward re-opening our Campus Recreation facilities in fall 2020, specifically the Marino Recreation Center and the SquashBusters Center, we are writing to share updates on how the University is preparing for a return to campus.

One of the integral components of ensuring the safety of everyone involved is testing for SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19. All Northeastern University students, faculty, and staff returning to campus will be required to undergo viral testing regularly. This, along with implementing changes to significantly increase sanitation measures, in addition to the preservation of appropriate social and physical distancing through reducing overall density in facilities, are key measures towards re-opening the recreation facilities.

Additionally, in accordance with guidelines set forth by Massachusetts and the City of Boston, we will be limiting our capacity to 40% based on our commitment to providing a healthy and safe return, coupled with a new approach to individualized exercise through a reservations app.

In order to adhere to these measures it will be necessary to restrict usage, only allowing Northeastern University students, faculty and staff who fall under the Northeastern testing protocols to access these facilities upon re-opening. Your account shows that you had a membership for the 2019-2020 season; therefore, it will continue to be extended as we await the appropriate time to allow our other affiliated groups access to the Northeastern Recreation facilities.

We will be in touch as the situation changes and plan to welcome you back to enjoy our facilities when state and city Public Health recommendations indicate it is safe to do so.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
